You knew that your carpet needed cleaning so you searched for a company to come out and get your carpet looking like new again, and then you noticed that there are quite a few carpet cleaning companies in your town.  So what to do?  Well if you are like most people, you called a company that used the word “steam” in their name to come out and clean your carpet.  If you were lucky, they knew what they were doing and your experience was a good one.  If you were unlucky, you were in for one bad ride.  And that is putting it mildly.
