When you invest in a carpet cleaning or any of the other services we offer at Steamer’s Carpet Care, it’s probably likely you want to be sure that the job performed is by experts. Sharing your sentiments, the management at Steamer’s Carpet Care prides itself on employing experts who have undergone extensive training in their specialty. As a consumer, you can be certain that the technician you receive for your home, will have undergone intensive training, education and fulfilled a high bar of qualifications before we’ll let them even close to your carpet.
Our Technicians’ Training & Qualifications

IICRC Certified — Although our industry does not require certification in the carpet cleaning field, at Steamer’s Carpet Care we require all of our technicians to be certified with the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification. This non-profit body is dedicated to providing educational and certification services for those in home cleaning and restoration fields. Most of the training programs at IICRC require enrollment in a class that requires passage of written-exam to receive certification. IICRC also offers a variety of different certifications depending on the expertise from the general “House Cleaning Technician (HCT)” to “Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT).” At Steamer’s we’ll ensure you get a technician specialized in the service you request, and you’ll be able to identify their certifications by the IICRC patches on our technicians’ uniforms.

Internal Training Program — In addition to the more broad IICRC training, Steamer’s has a rigorous internal training program for technicians who join our company. Our training goes a step beyond and familiarizes our team with our equipment, business practices, and other information we deem as necessary for their knowledge and success as a technician with our company.

Criminal Background Check — We recognize that the prospect of letting a stranger into your home (often alone) for several hours, can sometimes be an anxiety-provoking prospect. As a result, we perform criminal background checks on all of our technicians to ensure that they are employees we would feel comfortable with at our company and in your home.
