Steamer's Carpet Care Annual Fall Food Drive

We're from here . . . San Antonio and its surrounding communities is home.

Since Steamer's Carpet Care and its employees all call this area home, we put our heads together one morning to figure out how we could help others around us. It was in the fall of 2008, and the news on the economy was making people seriously worry about their future.

With an ingenious idea, one of our lead technicians suggested that since we are already dealing with homeowners . . . why don't we ask them if they would like to participate in a food drive? Everybody agreed that the idea was great, and the vans started bringing back food by the end of the day! In our first year, we collected over 1,300 pounds of food for the San Antonio Food Bank!

Due to its success, Steamer's Carpet Care has decided to have an annual food drive each fall whereas customers can donate canned or other food items, which will be delivered to the San Antonio Food Bank. A huge thanks to Steamer's Carpet Care employees and customers for a job well done!
